Larry McNeely, LCPC

Larry McNeely is licensed in Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and in West Virginia and Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC), and a nationally certified school counselor. He practices family and marital therapy with specialties in children's behavioral health, play therapy, and Alzheimer's/memory care. In his 49 years of practice, Mr. McNeely has helped thousands of individuals and families work together through therapy. Mr. McNeely holds a B.A. in Education from Marshall University, a M.Ed. in Counselor Education from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from the Mandell Scholl at Case Western Reserve University. Throughout his career, Mr. McNeely has advocated for children, including serving as an expert witness in family court and circuit court over one hundred times, and founding and operating a nonprofit organization which is now closed, Children and Youth Behavioral Health Center, in Buckhannon, WV.
